We are proud to collaborate again with Jamii Coffee to offer another wonderful coffee from Kenya. The Igegania cooperative is named for the Kikuyu word for “wonders” and speaks to the opportunity for development offered to the community by farming and exporting speciality grade coffee. Small-scale farmers combine their lots of arabicas at the shared wet mill, where the best beans are sorted and combined for export. This season’s crop exhibits the brightness and complexity of traditionally well balanced Kenyan coffee. Deep blackberry notes up front are followed by lighter citrus and a delicate sweetness that lingers on the finish. This is a coffee that an be enjoyed hot or cold, in a variety of brew methods.
